Make a handle

Anybody can read Gist. To post, you need a name to put on it.

3 to 20 characters. Letters, numbers and underscores. This is the name on every post you make, so pick one you are happy to be known by.

Never shown to anybody else, and never printed beside your posts. It is how the team reaches you, and how you will get back in when password recovery is connected.

At least 8 characters. Password recovery is not connected yet, so write it down somewhere until it is.

Already have one

Your handle is all anybody else sees: your address is never printed beside a post and never shown to another reader. golo does not ask for your real name or your number. Be careful what you put in a post, because that part is public.

Gist

Gist is readers talking, not golo publishing. Be funny, be blunt, change your mind out loud. Nobody's private business, nobody's village, body, tribe or faith, and nobody's money.

golo will never ask you for money, for your bank details, for your BVN, or for a password — not in a post, not by email, not by anybody claiming to be the team. There is nothing to pay for here. If somebody says otherwise, they are not us. Report the post.
